Obituary for Mark Everett Andrews

Mark Everett Andrews, 54 of Upper St. Clair, formerly of Waynesburg, PA died unexpectedly on Monday, September 25, 2017 at home. He was born December 18, 1962 a son of Dr. Thomas E. (Barbara) Andrews. After graduating from Waynesburg High School and Waynesburg College with a B.A. in English communications and a B.S. in Business Administration in 1986, he worked for WRS Motion Picture Lab, Video Tone Productions, Eyemark Production Services and was TV Master Control/Technical Director at KDKA for 16 years. Mark loved to travel to the family cottage in Maine, where the family would kayak, fish, hike, pick blueberries and tell stories around the fire. He also loved exploring Hungary (Judit's homeland) and other places in Europe. He was curious about science and the cosmos. He was a great fan of all the Pittsburgh Sports Teams: The Pirates, Steelers and the Penguins, as he was involved in the celebratory broadcasts of the homecoming parades. Surviving in addition to his parents is his loving wife Dr. Judit Sarady-Andrews and his 2 wonderful sons Markus and Nicholas at home. 2 Brothers: Scott (Christine) Andrews of Lake Wylie, SC and Thomas (Irma) Andrews, Jr. of Greensburg, PA. Nieces Caitlin (Daniel) Shirley, Abigail (Chase) Webber, Hannah (Mitchel) Osbourne and nephew Harrison Andrews. Uncles Richard (Jane) Hasey and William Andrews, and Aunt Judith Hasey-Nisbett. Also surviving are numerous great-nieces and great-nephews and cousins. There will be a Memorial Service held on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Waynesburg, PA with the Rev. Dr. Donald Wilson officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the educational fund for Markus and Nicholas would be deeply appreciated.
